Does anyone read the ‘About Me’ pages? I guess only time will tell! I think.. I have read.. none lol!
If you are here though, I should not disappoint, so I will tell you a little about myself.
I am a 33 (almost 34) year old lady (lol whatever that means) who lives in the northern prairies in Saskatchewan. Where??? Yes… Saskatchewan. OK, honestly, most of the people reading this blog will likely be Canadians, and off the start, most of them will be my friends and family, so you likely know where that is. You likely know how to get to my house… BUT just in case, by some miracle of God, I do grow a bigger following that extends past my immediate family… Google Iroquois Lake, Saskatchewan! lol!
This blog was inspired by a series of events in my husband and I’s lives and I’ve decided I really need an outlet. I thought if I was going through this, we were going through this, there are likely others who are too.
We have been trying to start family and we are 5-0 in the standings. That is 5 pregnancies in 3 years and 0 babies.
Now, of course, we could count our fur babies, and we do love them dearly (cows, dogs, cats, horses, donkey & all), but they are not the babies we are talking about.
At one point in our story, we were no longer trying to conceive, we joined the RPL (Recurrent Pregnancy Loss) group of the online forum world.
And as we progress and journey through what feels like a never-ending loop of pregnancy and loss, I thought about how important it is to make time for self-care. Making time for:
- Self-love
- Self-care
- Mental health
- Self-awareness and growth
- And creating a toolbox to help you along your path
And, this blog was born.
So… Welcome, and I hope you will find a delightful trunk of tools to help you keep your sanity along this roller coaster we call life!
